Meet Artist Anne Woodford

Anne Woodford is a local Seattleite with a passion for creating art.  From an early age, Anne gravitated to the arts, taking up painting and drawing, as well as fiber arts. She has a BA from the University of Washington in Cultural Anthropology/Political Science with a minor in fine arts.   Upon graduating from the Uof W, she managed The Legacy, an art gallery, specializing in Native American Art for 10 years.  When she decided to have children, she left the gallery, but not her love for creating art.  Anne has taught painting classes for the last 10 years and is a self-taught chalkboard artist as well.  She is currently drawing upon her travels for inspiration for her paintings.  She has recently rediscovered textile painting and is looking forward to holding workshops in that medium.  Available for private painting commissions as well as mural/chalkboard work.
